Natural Inspiration from Domino Magazine

Fell in love with Lauren Liess' home which was featured in Domino Magazine last month. 

Lauren has a wonderful design blog where she has featured her 

home renovation on her blog.

It is AM-AAAA-ZING! 

My favorite item in her home is her custom sputnik chandelier. 

I really, really need one in my home. 

 I'm always a sucker for the mix of white + natural wood and 

Lauren's home is pure perfection.

love the wood ceiling, metal table, and global light fixture in the dining room,

 and the library is relaxed and inviting, with fantastic butcher block IKEA 

counters used as shelves… genius.

Newport Beach, California :: Beach House

Spotted this bright and cheerful beach home in Coastal Living Magazine. 

Colorful patterns and bold accessories let this family's personality shine through

 in their Newport Beach, California home. The talented designers were the sister 

design team Karen Mathiesen Brown and Kristina Mathiesen. 

I adore the Trina Turk for Schumacher fabric on the banquette. 

And I really need to find me some large electric letters... too much FUN! ;)

What a comfortable and happy beach home.

Paradise Found in Lonny Magazine

Ya... It's been awhile since I've posted. We have an event coming up this weekend at my home 

and I've been running around trying to get everything ready.  

Hopefully I'll get some good photos to share.

In the meantime, I'm crazy about this home featured in Lonny Magazine!  

The owner of this lovely East Hampton, NY home is the lovely 

fashion designer Ariane Goldman.

This home is oh-so-casual-&-oh-so-beachy, and I so adore the homey vibe!

 Once again, I'm obsessed with the white walls and the dark wood beams...

but no mistake, what adds to the finishing touch, in my opinion,

are the splashes of graphic rugs throughout the home. 

 I am constantly amazed and how much a rug can add to a room.

Eclectic Malibu Ranch House

Loved seeing this eclectic and colorful Malibu Hills ranch style home in the 

March issue of House Beautiful!

 Todd Nickey and Amy Kehoe, of Nickey Kehoe Designs, 

is the interior design team that is responsible for this amazing high energy home in Malibu.

And how interesting is the "love" word spray-painted above the bed 

in the master bedroom?

At first I didn't know if I liked it, but I think it has grown on me...  

I like the bold, artistic statement of imperfection. 

I love the arches, the mix of white and natural wood,
 and I always love me a bold chevron rug! 

What a fun, colorful, and lovely home.

Beachside Home in Copenhagen

Last month Lonny Magazine featured a lovely beachside home from Copenhagen. 

One of my favorite things about the home is the black frame and trim around the windows, 

the black cabinets, and the black accents throughout the home. 

The mix of white, black and natural wood is so timeless... 

I can't get over the insanely beautiful staircase that leads to a black and white floor. 

There is just so much design inspiration in this Scandinavian styled home.

Kitchen of the Year: House Beautiful

This kitchen of the year, that was recently featured in House Beautiful , 

is sleek, modern & spectacular!

The dark paint on the ceiling is out-of-this-world-cool!

The nautical lighting is my new favorite. In fact, those pendants would look perfect in my kitchen.

What a beautiful home. I'm so inspired by all of the white cabinets, silver & shinny accessories, 

and windows. This room just seems so light, bright, happy and clean.
