Nantucket Surfside Beach House

"The colors of morning mist, foggy late afternoons and clear days adorn the interiors of this very hip, architecturally designed beach home still lending a presence of the old. A collaborative adventure with BPC Architecture and Cross Rip Builders, Rhett DuPont features visual and sensual forms. The textures, furnishings and lighting lend a style of casual elegance with a flair of femininity juxtaposed to the strong lines in the architectural field."

Hello Surfside Chic!
Nantucket has some seriously amazing Beach Houses…
I mean… serious.
As a lover of Nantucket, of course I was drawn to this lovely home.
I recently returned from  trip to Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, & Boston.
I'll post photos of my trip soon, along with some great suggestions on
where to stay and eat.  In the meantime, here are some
fantastic photos of this amazing collaboration between

Newport California Beach House

I gasped when I saw the design of this Newport, California Beach House.
What I like most about it is the mix of styles.
There is a little southern, eastern, and classic contemporary.
It was designed by Brandon Architects Inc and they call it a Colonial Greek Revival.
 It is simple, timeless and coastal chic.
The beautiful light pallet and coastal interiors were by Shannon Patterson

Love the area above the house.  I'm sure there is an amazing view of the ocean, harbor, and beach.
Imagine the beautiful sunsets that will be seen from that roof!

The tile work in both bathrooms is simply amazing!
Both patterns add a great beachy statement to the bathrooms.

Florida Beach House by Balfoort Architecture + Beach Chic Design

Love. Love. Love!
This Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida home is pure perfection.
With it's casual and elegant vibe, both indoors and out,
it is an all-around incredible tropical getaway!
Designed by architect Michelle Balfoort, interiors by Beach Chic Design,
and photographed by Adam Cohen.
The exterior of the home is so lovely, timeless, and inviting.
The pool area is an entertaining dream, and the interior is completely amazing.
With clean lines, white and bright pallet, natural wood ceilings, natural beachy
elements scattered throughout the home, beautiful tile work,
and a dash of modern design-- this style screams perfection in my eyes!

Passion Tea Lemonade :: {Starbucks Style}

Passion Tea Lemonade
{Starbucks Style}

simple, delicious, & refreshing
perfect for sipping on the porch or veranda
on a hot summer day...

Recipe::
 *Tazo Passion Tea
fill pitcher 1/4 up with hot water, add tea bag and let it soak in hot water for 1 min.
(there are two ways to purchase this:: you can get the kind that is for a pitcher of tea,
or you can get the kind that are normal tea bags for mugs.
If you get the normal tea bags, add 3-4 tea bags to the hot water.)

*Add lemonade
( I typically use the Simply Lemonade, but you could use fresh if you'd like)

*add slices of lemons if you'd like

Oh! and don't forget the
stripey straws, entertaining supplies,
& white ceramic Pineapple are all
