Beachside Home in Copenhagen

Last month Lonny Magazine featured a lovely beachside home from Copenhagen. 

One of my favorite things about the home is the black frame and trim around the windows, 

the black cabinets, and the black accents throughout the home. 

The mix of white, black and natural wood is so timeless... 

I can't get over the insanely beautiful staircase that leads to a black and white floor. 

There is just so much design inspiration in this Scandinavian styled home.

Designer Highlight: Greg Natale

Love this living room by a Sydney based architect and interior designer, Greg Natale.
This is very graphic, chic, modern, sophisticated, and so inviting.
I think the star of the room is the fun chevron chair by the window. 

I am now a super fan of Greg Natale's work, 

and below is another room that I think is just fabulous.  

Contemporary Rustic Toronto Cottage

This kitchen is what caught my attention while looking at Style at Home.

To me, it's the accents that make it. The old school stools, the stripped rug, the yellow accents, and especially the lighting... oh, the lighting, I adore.

So, this is my second favorite room in this rustic contemporary Toronto cottage.

 Love the cozy feeling and that fireplace is the star of the room. 

The charcoal paint paired with the stark white fireplace is quite striking. I love the addition of the stripped pillows. It's amazing how just a small pattern can make a big addition to a room.
