Nantucket Surfside Beach House

"The colors of morning mist, foggy late afternoons and clear days adorn the interiors of this very hip, architecturally designed beach home still lending a presence of the old. A collaborative adventure with BPC Architecture and Cross Rip Builders, Rhett DuPont features visual and sensual forms. The textures, furnishings and lighting lend a style of casual elegance with a flair of femininity juxtaposed to the strong lines in the architectural field."

Hello Surfside Chic!
Nantucket has some seriously amazing Beach Houses…
I mean… serious.
As a lover of Nantucket, of course I was drawn to this lovely home.
I recently returned from  trip to Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, & Boston.
I'll post photos of my trip soon, along with some great suggestions on
where to stay and eat.  In the meantime, here are some
fantastic photos of this amazing collaboration between

Lowcountry Style with Island Charm

This coastal chic style is calling my name…
The dreamy home is the St. Kitts project
Charleston, South Carolina.
What draws me to this amazing place is the perfect mix of a white base,
natural woods throughout, and pops of color added in just the right places.

Stylish Living Room by Emily Henderson

Obsessed with this living room makeover by Emily Henderson
Love the mix of modern and vintage, but it's amazing how much the green plants add to
the oomph of the room.  This is one of those rooms where you fall-in-love at first glance,
and then with each detail you notice you become more attached.
Details and more photos are on Emily's blog
I always love the work of Emily Henderson, especially when she includes
In the past, she has used some of our Katherine Rally Bali Pillows
Check photos of her design using our pillows here.

The Manor at Samara by John Jacob Interiors

Came across these amazing photos of a manor in Samara that was
decorated by John Jacob Interiors.
Samara is a private Game Reserve near Graaff-Reinet, on the
edge of the Plains of Camdeboo.
My husband has been wanting to go to a Game Reserve in Africa, and I think I've found the
perfect one to visit! These interiors are quite spectacular. They are classy, crisp, and modern
with only a hint that it's a Game Reserve in the mounts scattered around the home. I adore the khaki and white striped walls, and of course, the mix of white and natural wood.
John Jacob Interiors is based out of Cape Town, South Africa.
I really enjoy seeing the work of interior designers all over and seeing
such unique and talented work.

Million Dollar Decorators in Nantucket

Loved the Million Dollar Decorators episode on Bravo TV where Jeffery was able to decorate
a lovely vacation home in Nantucket, MA.  Here are a few photos from Bravo's website.

Nantucket Style with Lynn Morgan Design

What is my obsession with Nantucket?
Not quite sure why I'm loving that lovely place so much lately...
Nantucket has so many great aspects... there is the historical and colonial downtown,
but there is also a fun and hip vibe, the calm and quite relaxing feel, beautiful beaches,
plus the beautiful gray and white beach homes.
There is a distinct Nantucket style, which says quite a bit for a small little island
30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod.
In my opinion, this home is pure perfection... and who is to be given credit for this perfection?

I'm dying over that fantastic table in the hallway. It is so natural, beachy, and imperfect.
I have become a fan of Lynn's designs and appreciate how natural, clean and crisp this home is,
but with a touch of whimsy and color.
