Kelly Wearstler's Malibu Home

Kelly Wearstler's Malibu home was recently featured in InStyle magazine.
I love how her home reminds me of an extension of nature,
full of different movements, textures, and natural elements.

The funky chandelier resembles seaweed washed up on shore,
while the floor to ceiling marble makes such a natural yet bold statement.
I love the punch the graphic rug adds to the familyroom,
and the patchwork wood surfboards add a fun, beachy vibe!

Rachel Bilson's Bohemian Midcentury Home

Rachel Bilson's stylin' home was featured in Lonny Magazine last fall.
She claims she's always loved the Parker Palm Springs kind of look,
and that comes out in her style.
She collaborated with designer Kishani Perera to create a bohemian, mid-century laid back, comfortable, and inviting home.  I love the small and eclectic details to Rachel's place,
and thatlarge, navy sofa is a perfect, shinny statement piece for the main room.

Meg Ryan's lovely beach retreat in Martha's Vineyard

Now, I know I have an obsession with Nantucket.
I have yet to visit the similar sister Island, Martha's Vineyard, although it is definitely in my plans to do so! I know that it is a larger, more populated, and a more popular island.  The Massachusetts Island has a history and ties with many of the "rich & famous" in history. I can see why the Island has an appeal to many famous people. It has a unique character and beauty and can offer a peaceful seclusion from the rest of the world. It's dreamy really.  Well, at least I imagine so. I adore Nantucket and Cape Cod, and know that it is very similar to those lovely places.
Anyway, Meg Ryan is one of those movie star's that brilliantly chose to take refuge and comfort on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard.
Featured in Elle Decor, Meg offers a peek into her comfortable and beautiful beach retreat. Her bathroom is actually one of my favorite rooms of the house. The bathtub, vanity, storage, tiled floor, and funky lighting are all pure perfection in my book!  The bluestone and brick shelving in the pantry is pretty impressive too.  Another fave is the dinning area. Love the vintage "Flowers" sign and all the interior windows. It adds character and a historical feel to the beach house.  Check out the article and more photos at Elle Decor

Cat Deeley's Boho-Chic Home

InStyle Magazine highlighted the wonderful Cat Deeley's
Boho-Chic Beverly Hills home in their August edition.
There is so much to love in her casual yet sophisticated home.

I've been a fan of Cat Deeley for years.
As the host of my favorite TV show So You Think You Can Dance,
I have loved Cat's effortless style and her casual, comfortable, & lovely personality.
Her home reflects her personality. It is happy, eclectic, and welcoming.
Check out the Behind-the-Scenes video

Your home should reflect your travels
and your history."

Reese Witherspoon's Ojai House

Reese Witherspoon's lovely Ojai, California home was featured in Elle Decor recently.
Reese's weekend home, which was originally built in 1923, was recently redesigned by her friend, Kristen Buckingham, and came with seven acres of beautiful property.

The living room's amazing wood ceiling, wrought-iron chandelier, and fireplace are all original to the house. Although it has the historic Spanish charm, I really like how she mixed the original decor with quite a bit of Scandinavian furniture and style.

These bedrooms for her children are simple and sophisticated...
What kid doesn't love to have their bed in a little nook area.

This terrace is perfection!

Amanda Peet's Lovely LA Oasis

Magical realism, is what Amanda Peet has created for her darling family in Las Angeles, California.
I have to say, I'm in love with the oasis they have created with their yard.
It is absolutely beautiful! I have some serious envy.
You can find the photos and interview with Amanda Peet on Vogue.

The mix of black and white in this entry is strong, yet there is a casual vibe.
I'm loving Amanda's casual, classy, and eclectic style.
