Maps as Wall Art

I have always loved the idea of using maps as art... in fact, I have a wall gallery in my home, 

where I've framed maps of favorite places where I've traveled to or lived...

 I just need to get a good photo of my gallery so I can show it.

Nantucket Architectural Beauty

Well, my obsession with Nantucket continues...

and how could I not be obsessed after seeing these amazingly beautiful photographs by

They are professional photographers that focus on photographing architecture
and construction in New England.
All of these photos were taken by them and I have to say they are perfection.
The lighting, colors, homes & views really capture the essence & beauty of Nantucket!

Paradise Found in Lonny Magazine

Ya... It's been awhile since I've posted. We have an event coming up this weekend at my home 

and I've been running around trying to get everything ready.  

Hopefully I'll get some good photos to share.

In the meantime, I'm crazy about this home featured in Lonny Magazine!  

The owner of this lovely East Hampton, NY home is the lovely 

fashion designer Ariane Goldman.

This home is oh-so-casual-&-oh-so-beachy, and I so adore the homey vibe!

 Once again, I'm obsessed with the white walls and the dark wood beams...

but no mistake, what adds to the finishing touch, in my opinion,

are the splashes of graphic rugs throughout the home. 

 I am constantly amazed and how much a rug can add to a room.
